Dida Ritchie is a luxury espadrille and leather goods brand, founded by me, Dida, in 2018 following a summer working in Mallorca, where my love for Spanish style and the iconic espadrille really took off. This coincided with wanting to make more conscious fashion choices for myself and it became clear that others were searching for the same – well-made, timeless pieces that didn’t come with a designer price tag. This inspired me to create a smart and stylish espadrille that bridged the gap between high-street and prestige designer labels and could be worn season after season. Designed to empower women – take them from day to night, city to beach, these are pieces made to be worn, loved, and lived in. At the heart of the brand is a commitment to sustainability and ethical craftsmanship – working with skilled Spanish artisans who have been handcrafting espadrilles for generations. By keeping production in Spain and using carefully sourced leather and suede, Dida Ritchie supports local craftsmanship and slow fashion, creating timeless pieces that are made to last.
